Figured this was in need of an update. After a few problems a while back with me system, I tried installing Vista. Never again will a make that mistake. After loading it up, I got countless errors, literally, countless. It numerous times installing, and crashed nearly every time as soon as it logged in. There is a blog posting about vista, found here, if your after more details.

I'm now running good old fashioned XP. The problems as I found out after doing the Vista bollocks, was down to an update EA produced for Command and Conquer: Kanes Wrath. They fucked up securom majorly, which produced explorer.exe errors when accessing folders and right clicking. I've now got the fix for this and no errors have arisen since. Don't think i'll be coming off XP for quite some time. I do however, need to find some antivirus programmes that I like, because its currently running without any for the time. Doesnt really matter however, as all my downloads are from trusted/tested sources, and I dont visit porn sites. No need to worry there then ;)

Below is a few of the games I currently play on this system, at highest settings (thats 1280*1024 resolution too). They play well, and smoothly. So when you see reviews where they say they dont play well at high settings, heres a true verdict.

The Witcher
Unreal Tournament 3
Every Command & Conquer that exists, except sole survivor.
Bioshock
FEAR and all expansions
HL2 and all Episodes, CSS, etc etc

Those are just a few of the games I play, there are a few more graphicaly demanding ones, but I can't think of the names right now. In all fairness, I'm currently playing my X-Box 360 alot more than I play PC games at the moment, what with my new addiction to Tom Clancy's Vegas 2.

If you want to know anything else about my PC etc, just ask.
