A Guide To 'Having a Bath'
Having a bath can sometimes be a tricky business indeed. Not only do you have to get the perfect temperature for maximum satisfaction, you also have to worry about what shampoo to use, and what showergel you should use for that particular bathing session. These steps will help you make your mind up along the way.
1 . The first step is a simple one. Start running the bath with hot water. As a general guideline, filling the bath up to just before halfway will be a sufficient amount. Please also note, that at this point, you may want to add some showergel, or bubble bath. Always remember to pour it 'under the running water'.
2 . Once the hotwater is done, start doing the cold water. You must maintain a constant temperature test with this, otherwise your bath may be too hot/cold for you. Remember, just because your hand is used to the heat, it doesn't mean the rest of your body can stand it. A good final test is to put one foot in and move it. If it burns at all, add more cold water.
3 . When you are satisfied with the temperature of your bath, remove all clothing and then step into it. The next step is to sit in the bath, and finally, lie down in the bath. This allows for maximum relaxation.
4 . After your nicely relaxed, its time to clean everywhere. You should always have a bar of soap handy, if you don't, use showergel. Ensure you wash your toes, crutch, armpits and finally, behind the knees. This helps to ensure that after your bath, you don't still stink of BO.
5 . You need to wash your hair too. Depending on your hair type, and if your Male/Female, the shampoo type will vary. I personally use Charles Worthington shampoo & conditioner. It doesn't dry my hair and it keeps it easily manageable. Obviously your preferred one will probably vary. Don't be afraid to try different makes until you find one you like most.
6 . Once you are all washed, you need to get out the bath. Ensure you dry yourself properly with the towel, epsecially between the toes. Moisture can lead to mould/fungi, which can lead to infection or other complications. You should also clean in your ears, cotton buds are probably best for this part though.
