Bugs
This page is here to display the current bugs on the site, rather than spam the front page with bug updates. They are listed in date order of when they were found, and have a 'fixed on' date at the end, along with an explanation if deemed necessary.
01/09/08 - White space appearing top right of site next to header image. Present in all browsers. Fixed 02/09/08
03/09/08 - When visiting video and music directories, because the player is over half the width of the content column, it is causing file names to run under many lines when a video is playing. This was fixed by amending the media player size. Fixed 03/09/08
03/09/08 - A bug is causing Firefox browsers to display 2 embedded media players. This is because Firefox does not correctly detect the embedded media player, and instead automatically adds in another media player to display the file. Not going to be fixed. This site is designed for IE 6 and 7.
03/09/08 - Bug when opening videos and playing them. Sometimes it will cause a crash in IE 6. I believe this to be down to it automatically opening the Combined Community Codec Pack, as this has never happened until after I installed this. I will test this throughout the week and update accordingly. This is caused by the Combined Community Codec Pack loading up when playing the videos. When the CCCP is not installed, I cannot replicate the bug. Fixed 17/09/08
03/09/08 - A bug in Firefox is causing the sites footer to appear lower that it should be. I have a rough idea why this is happening, but i'm not too sure how to go about fixing it without causing even more CSS and XHTML errors. I'll figure something out. Fixed. CSS amendments and XHTML changes. Fixed 22/10/08
03/09/08 - When opening an animation, it is causing the file names to squash up and become confusing. Player window size needs amending. Fixed by amending player window size. Fixed 04/08/09
28/09/08 - When opening the latest tracks, table rendering is taking a long time to load up. This is due to the browsers ability to affectively open and display a table containing 1500 rows in one window. I could fix this by reducing the table size to 500 rows, however, another way would be to stick the last 1400 rows into a cache, so it doesn't have to read and display each row from the DB. Will look into this.
28/09/08 - A bug I have only just noticed properly was the text alignment on all the content. In Firefox, it was being displayed on the left (as it should), whereas in Explorer 6, it was showing in the middle. This has been corrected. Fixed by amended style sheet to display correct text alignment. Fixed 28/09/08
